Canon Powershot A580 review
Canon impresses with its new conception, the Canon Powershot A580 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown on the North American market on the 24/1/08. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3264 x 1832, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The sensor on the Powershot A580 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Canon implemented a digital zoom on the Powershot A580 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The min. shutter speed of the Powershot A580 was set at 15 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds.
Movie clips are also supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Canon Powershot A580 has an internal memory of 32 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC/SDHC card. The LCD screen of the Powershot A580 diagonally measures 2.5 ". There is also a video out output available letting you see your pictures on television.
