Canon is back with its new conception, the Canon PowerShot A200 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown in North America on the 06/6/02. The Canon PowerShot A200 was initially targeted at a retail price of 300in the United States, a great deal. This nice camera measures 110 x 58 x 37 mm while it weights only 225 g. The PowerShot A200 offers a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Canon PowerShot A200 has been set at 4:3, making a camera of 1.9 mega pixels.
The sensor of the PowerShot A200 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/3.2 " having a RGB color filter.
